Valerie Joly is a College Assistant at the Office of Academic Initiatives and Strategic Innovation. Born and raised in Panama City, Panama, she moved to Jacksonville, Florida to pursue her undergraduate education. Valerie holds a B.A. in Philosophy with a Minor in Psychology, as well as a B.F.A. in Graphic Design & Digital Media from the University of North Florida. She also holds a Master’s degree in Ethics and Society from Fordham University, where she worked as a Graduate Assistant at The Center for Ethics Education prior to joining The Graduate Center. Valerie is passionate about interdisciplinary and public education, and in her free time, she can be found listening to music, reading a book, drawing, or taking photographs.
